Landgasthof Haigern in Talheim

The food here is second to none! Not only is the taste unbeatable, the visual aspect is also a true work of art. Ps: At dessert we noticed that the plate to be waved in the picture is a white plate, everything that happens on it is edible art!

We sat in the outdoor area of ​​the Landgasthof Haigern in the "better restaurant" under the pavilions (not in the beer garden). The outside area is huge and only a few places on the edge have a beautiful view. You can't see much from the other seats, which was very disappointing. The service was only mediocre and the overburdened and unfriendly waiter did not ask after the aperitif whether we had another drink request. The place wasn't even half full at the time. The food was just as mediocre as the service. So if you want to pay a little more for a little less performance and quality, this is the right place. We will definitely not be back.

parma ham with melon. ox cheeks with spaetzle. very well prepared and attentive service. the interior needs some warmth. so i would want to give 4.5 out of five stars. Unfortunately that doesn't work. but we'll be back and very soon.

I have to mention in advance that there are two parts, on the one hand the beer garden part with currywurst and co, and on the other hand the pavilion with fine food. We were in the pavilion. The food was super fresh and of high quality. The view of the vineyards is wonderful. The staff is polite too. However, we waited a long time for the drinks ... that's why the star deduction.

At the moment I can only judge the beer garden. It was nice here. Food choice plentiful. Unusual for a beer garden: there was pizza. I haven't tried them, but they looked really good. The surroundings are very beautiful, including the view from the beer garden. Only four stars because I can't judge the rest. I have not met

We from Heidelberg met our friends from Stuttgart here, it's equally far away for everyone. We really liked the upscale atmosphere of the restaurant's terrace. Despite many guests, we felt safe (Corona). The service was perfect and quick! The Mediterranean food was very good and reasonably priced. We also found our favorite Knipser wine on the menu. That's very nice, I've never found a Dautel in the Palatinate. We will be back!

We went there by bike (5 men). The landscape is super beautiful, the beer garden was okay. You could forget the food, in every reasonable french fry booth you can get a better currywurst with french fries.
